Get involved

Vision Builders is built by members, volunteers, mentors and partner churches. Every one of these is open to a person who supports the mission, values and objectives of the corporation and keeps its policies for the protection of young people.

Become a member

Members support the mission, conduct themselves with integrity, respect other members and participants, protect the reputation and property of the corporation, and support the work of Vision Center. Membership classes are set by the Board. Participation in a youth program does not by itself make a young person a member.

Volunteer

Tutors for primary and secondary students, bookkeeping and financial literacy trainers, computer and technology trainers, gardeners and tradespeople, and helpers for events at Vision Center. Every volunteer who works with young people is screened and follows the child and youth protection policy.

Mentor

A mentor walks beside one young person for a season: a professional, an educator, an entrepreneur, a community leader or a Christian leader. Meetings happen in public places, a parent knows the time and place of every one, and no private messaging passes between mentor and young person.

Partner churches, schools and organisations

The Bylaws direct us to cooperate with churches, schools, government agencies, businesses, non-profits, foundations, community organisations and international organisations whose activities fit our purposes. If yours does, we would like to hear from you.

Give

The corporation may receive donations, grants, sponsorships, membership dues, program fees and gifts. Every dollar advances the purposes of Vision Builders. No director, officer or member receives a share. The Board has not yet opened online giving. Until it does, contact us and the Treasurer will reply.

How to start

Write to us at the postal address on the contact page, or message the Vision Builders, Inc. Facebook Page. A member of the team replies within one working day, Majuro time.
